Shahi Paneer
  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 1 onion, cubed
  • 4 tomatoes, cubed
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1 inch of ginger, chopped
  • 2 pods of cardamom
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ dl of milk (I used cream)
  • oil for frying
  • salt
  1. Heat oil in pan, add cardamom, green chili, ginger, garlic and onions. Fry till transparent.
  2. Add tomatoes, cook until mushy
  3. Paste in mixer
  4. Again heat pan and some oil, and add paste. Add salt, red chili powder, garam masala and pepper.
  5. Fry till oil seperates.
  6. Add paneer cubes, cook couple of minutes
  7. Add milk (or cream) and heat in low heat couple of minutes.
